PT Line Service Technician

Alliance Aviation provides fuel and aviation services at the Lancaster Airport. If the world of aviation with exciting opportunities on the horizon intrigues you, this Line Service Technician opening could be for you.  Candidate should have the aptitude to operate a large vehicle (CDL not required) and enjoy working outdoors throughout the shift.  Prior Line Service experience is helpful but not necessary.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

  • Actively engaging and welcoming customers.
  • Aircraft fueling, marshaling, towing & deicing.
  • Receiving fuel loads.
  • Perform quality controls and FAA compliance checks.
  • Aircraft services to include GPU & Lavatory service.
  • Basic CSR duties including, but not limited to processing payments.
  • Maintain FBO, grounds, hangar area, restrooms, etc.
  • Basic vehicle and equipment maintenance.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Current driver’s license & safe driving record.
  • Ability to pass FBI criminal background check, drug test etc.
  • Medium to light labor with ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
  • Ability to learn and utilize the phonetic alphabet.
  • Frequent moving, traversing, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, reaching and lifting are part of the normal workday routine. Much of the work is outdoors during all weather conditions.
  • Aptitude for operating fuel trucks, tugs, forklifts, ground power units, lavatory carts, pre-heaters, de-icing equipment, lawn mowers, snow blowers and other equipment relating to aircraft services.
  • Ability to learn specific customer and aircraft type requirements.
  • Basic MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Shift Needed:  Part-Time evening weekdays and weekends.

Starting wage: Negotiable depending upon experience.
